Jenna Countryman Mauro is GGP’s newest conductor for the Symphonic Winds ensemble. She received her Bachelor of Music, Flute Performance, cum laude from Florida State University and completed her Master of Music, Flute Performance at San Francisco State University. She is a Flute and Piano Instructor at Music Land School of Music and a Flute Instructor at Inspire Music. She is the second place winner of the Wesley Farrand-Day Piano Chamber Music Competition, and received an Honorable Mention for SFSU Concerto Competition. She is an alumna of San Francisco, Jacksonville, and Berkeley Youth Orchestras. Jenna is also a winner of Jacksonville and Berkeley Youth Orchestra Concerto Competitions, and an alumna of Sigma Alpha Iota. She is currently a member of Symphony Parnassus.
